Hopefully there are no eligibility issues if we land him, often a problem with foreign players.

@AdamZagoria: St. John's lost Sampson, Sanchez & Achiuwa from the frontcourt, but now adds the Bosnian kid, Adonis Delarosa & Keith Thomas.All guards back

@AdamZagoria: Give him this. Steve Lavin thinks outside the box. Every other high-major coach is here at Peach Jam and he's in Bosnia adding a 6-9 kid

Not so fast, this is SJU, lol;

@NYPost_Brazille: St John's is recruiting Serbian prospect Amar Alibegovic, a 6-9 forward but no commitment has been given per source. #sjubb

That's the type of compliment Lavin usually gets from Otis.

I dont know what a stretch 4 is. But I want a tough guy playing the 4. I dont care how tall he is as long as he is strong. I dont want to see him block any shots. I want to see him box out.

Stretch 4:  Think Durant, Nowitzki.

Perhaps he'd be better off thinking Tyler Jones, Rodney Epperson, Mike Menniefield, Fred Hemphill, Paul Berwanger, and every other crappy 4 we've ever had than two of the better players on the planet.

I certainly wasn't comparing him to those players.  I was attempting to explain my understanding of the term "stretch 4."  (Although Durant may be more of a 3 than a 4...even at 6'11".
