The guy is now guaranteed $50G and has the chance to earn closer to high six digits.  Hard to say it wasnt the right move for him at this point.

So far it looks like he proving all thigh critic and doubters wrong (including myself), I hope he keeps doing it!

Hey, don't short-change him!  He also had 3 assists and a steal.

I think he has more assists in the NBA than he did at St. John's

Marillac is no guru.  Just someone that would like to see posters give the coach and the team the benefit of the doubt. If it takes pulling up past posts to show that he's not always wrong...so be it.  

For all intents and purposes, Jakarr's $507,336 salary became GUARANTEED today.  Saturday is the official deadline, but yesterday at 4pm was the deadline that teams could waive a player AND have him clear waivers prior to Saturday. 

Congrats to Jakarr for making it in the league AND for a guaranteed full year salary.  Poison, or anyone else who was critical, does this now change your opinion as to whether leaving was a smart move for Jakarr and his family?

He also had a career high 11 pts last night, to go along with 7 Rebounds, 5 Assists, and 1 Steal.
