NJIT Pre-Game Discussion

@RogRubin: St. John's center Chris Obekpa (left ankle sprain) returned to practice today. Wasn't 100 percent but should be able to go Friday. #sjubb

Steve Lavin might be the only coach in America that can have a fan base so excited about a commitment one day and then concerned about a game against NJIT the next day

Are we making predictions here or does that require a separate thread?

Njit lost its 2nd and 3rd best player to injury. Johnnies should roll. Damon Lynn is the player who will hurt us, small but effective

Call me crazy, but a double digit loss wouldn't shock me in the least bit.

Crazy? No score prediction is crazy with St.John's. Either they've done it before, or they will at some point. I'm honestly looking at the glass is half full when I recall that with Lavin we're dropping less games than we once did to the low level junk heap. So, we got that going for us.

Is the game on tv?

Yes...It's on FSN
When you're a kid from New York and you do it in New York, that lasts forever!

Schedule says FSN but it is showing on the YES Network on Time Warner Cable in NY.

Anything but a 20 point win is troublesome

Agree. And kids like Dlo deserve our support. Gets lost with all the recruiting stuff sometimes.

Yes...It's on FSN

FSN means that the game is shown nationally, over fox sports owned local stations.   Hence, why it's on YES in NY (they bought a majority stake last year).

YES has pretty broad distribution.  I'm getting the game in Cali in HD on YES.  This should applly to all FIOS subscribers.
