Thanks for posting. The Hurleys, like the Millers, have been well taught by gifted, intense & successful fathers/coaches. Danny H sounds so much like Bob SR.  Bobby seems more understated, but knows the game for sure. I think they, like the Millers, will have much success as coaches for years to come.

I'll be ok with anyone that can coach, and does a better good at recruiting then this character with one recruit in two years.

I watched the Nebraska game yesterday. They won and stormed the court. There are some really good players on that team, so I assume this guy can recruit, but they didn't seem especially well coached. I think people would have the same complaints about him as lavin. They made dumb fouls, they milked the clock and never got shots off, fouled three point shooters, etc.

Both brothers would listen intently if St. John's ever came calling...

I think Danny would be willing to wait down the road for SHU or Rutgers to ever open again.

Why do you say no about Rutgers Dave. . just curious...

Two to three years from now, that is a VERY different opportunity...

Maybe. Without facility upgrades that job is no win situation in Big 10.

Even if he could bring back SJU to the level of the 80? Why wouldn't you?
Anyone I'll take, as long as we are back to where we belong, on top.  Just win, and no shady crap.

I don't want any Puke scum coaching our team.

Yeah why go after anyone from the two most successful programs in the last 15-20 years when we can pluck from our own fertile coaching tree?

Nobody ever said that fandom is rational.
