Baldi dead on.  Jordan is a talent and can do some terrific things, but his decision-making needs to be improved.  That said, gutty effort tonight.  If you told this board that Obekpa would be fouled out wiht plenty of time, the consensus would be a blow out.  Keeping Obekpa out of foul trouble is going to be a concern all year, but I think that many teams won't have the size or smarts to take advantage of it as Gonzaga did.  Let's hope Jordan continues to mature and we can get something out of Christian Jones.  If so it will be a really fun year.

Kids played hard and fought.  No moral victories, but I do like what I saw tonight.

Jordan needs to make better decisions and cut down on the turnovers.

D'Angelo Harrison can play on my team anytime!!  Such a warrior.  Playing the 4 for majority of 2nd half against a 7 footer.  And held his own.

Lets stay hungry and beat the snot out of Cuse!!!

I think we lose by 20 without Greene on both ends.

We needed Obekpa to play smart tonight to have a chance and he just didn't get it done. Not saying he's back next year, but I'm not seeing sure fire first round draft pick either

Greene came to play. I liked that he played without hesitation. His decision making was extremely quick.

So Phil Greene bangs back to back 3s and doesn't touch the ball the rest of the game. Instead a guy with 9 turnovers and  another who shot 4-16 try to make things happen. Piss poor coaching

several points.  Have to play 40 minutes, not thirty.  Beginning of he 2nd half abysmal by players and Lavin. Jordan a great talent but poor decisionmaking.  Harrison better but offhand push off 20 feet from the basket will be called.  What is this kid thinking?  Overall a very good game by the Redmen, good hustle.  Need to create more pandemonium by using quickness in halfcourt presses and, when possible, fullcourt presses.  Loved Harrisons hustle and undersized D. Got to spot the Euro and ADR 10 minutes each

Overall a good team effort, "if"  recruiting kids that actually qualify weren't such a "juggernaut"
for Lavin, maybe we would have won.  Jordan better stay another year unless he wants to see
Europe.

Solid effort. Super lame call at the end.

Excellent call, 20 ft from basket and obvious.  Too bad.  With more intelligence by Harrison and Lavin team should have had a decent look, not an offensive foul.

I hope Jordan sees past his "got mine" 18 points and realizes that the team will not win with him having 9 TOs and 1 assist... seniors have to keep him and obkepa in check if they want to achieve their goal

Lavin put the ball in the hands of our far and away best player, best 3pt shooter, and most clutch player. Hard to really criticize the coaching there. Poor decision by Harrison to commit the foul but I think it was lame that it was called.

Can't be upset at the effort, wish we were. A it more oraganzied with 2 attempts down 3. Wish we came out a bit more structured in those 2 possessions, came out of a 2 minute huddle and just freestyled

Yeah, same routine. Go down by 15 then fight back only to still lose.
You can't expect to go down by that many, and expect to still win again a team like Gonzaga.

They beat a top 30 team and fought tough against a top10 team, though a loss is a loss.
You take that if you're ST. John's and move along to the Niagara game.

Tough call on Harrison, but it was a foul.  It was also the right call to have the ball in his hands.

For the life of me though I can understand why Obekpa didn't enter the game under 5 mins.  We've gave up too many easy put backs and lobs  to the Zags bigs.
The worst part is that there were plenty of oppertunities to sub offense/defense.
I don't get it.  We also struggled far too long against the zone coming out of halftime,  before Lavin called a time out.

Sure putting it in Harrison's hands at the end of the game was bad strategy. I'm sure Massiello would have made the perfect call. Spare me!
