More and more I am becoming a Myles Stewart fan.
Starting N'Diaye at Georgetown last year was Lavin trolling us. I really think he started Stewart tonight because he knows we will need his 3 pt shot against the Cuse 2-3 zone, so why not get the kid some legit run.

What ever happened to Henderson, or is he not showing anything in practice?
I remember reading on here about how much people liked him, I expected to see atleast alittle of him by now.
The more depth we have, the better we'll be in the long run.

You will see plenty of Henderson next year when Lavin doesn't sign anyone and we suck (summary of your posts the last few weeks)

You think they won't?  What happened when Lavin started experimkenting with the bench? from 15 down to 1, then he puts in a real line up and it went back up to 17.    They're gone next year.

Our only chance for next year?  CO and RJ desides to ride it out. If they stay, then Traci see that we have talent and balls for SJU.
I like what we got from Stewart tonight, if he keeps developing then we'll have something with him.
That's what I'm praying for.

If CO and RJ leaves with the seniors, do you think Traci is coming? Not a chance.

You seen what everyone besides the top 7 gave up, without Stewart,  nothing.
That Italian kid hit one three, hopefully he becomes a sharp shooter.

So like it or not but reality is, next years hopes is all on CO and RJ, and if you believe otherwise then you live in a fantasy land.

Unlike you, I am unable to predict the future. I have no idea what CO and RJ will decide. I have no idea if Traci comes or not. I have no idea how a kid on the current roster will or will not improve. I have no idea which recruits (if any) will be added. But yes, I am the one in fantasy land. Thumbs up!

I wish I was seeing some more encouraging stuff from Jones though.. Looks lost in the paint , especially on defense.  Rebounding is atrocious..

Lavin's recruiting and responsibility for their eligibility has been careless at best, but Henderson is a player. Can't kill the guy for a good move.

It's much more fun to come up with negative hypotheticals and then destroy Lavin for them instead of enjoying a fun team that is 5-1 and receiving votes in two different polls.

Was good seeing them run some sets with multiple screens. Thought Dlo was going to knock down that three.

Henderson is good practice depth but he isn't going to get minutes this year or future. Liam Beasley and Kevin Clark were better.
Stewart is solid. Was under recruited due to injury and played for two of Lavin's connections in Westchester HS and Earl Watson Elite travel team. I like his length and demeanor on the floor. He is a solid replacement for Hooper.
It was good to see Lavin use a deep rotation this game. He needed to get these guys some minutes because they will be needed at some point this year. Hopefully FDU or Fordham they can get some run too.

lol   Yeah before 75s, post to me I was going after next years team huh?  If people posts to me, I will continue to reply to them.
If it's about next years team, then I'll continue to debate them on next years team.

If you're sick of me killing Lavin for next years team, then I suggest that people don't post to me about next years team.

It's that simple.

hahaha   Simply oh yeah I'm Joe3, damn you caught me.  This is funny.

I can predict how this will turn out.
75, posts to me about next year, even when I wasn't talking about next year on this thread.
Others are now chiming in telling me to relax about next year, though I am relaxed, I was just responding to his post to me.

Some how I get a feeling that a warning is coming my way. Lets see

You've posted some dumb stuff in your day, but this may take the cake.  I don't see Henderson as top 5-7 rotation guy by any means (especially with Stewart around), but Liam and Kevin (both great guys) should never be in the same sentence as Henderson.

Was Stewart granted Thomas' scholarship or is he still a walk-on?

I really didn't think they were bad tonight as this board and Zach, who really wasn't having it tonight, made it seem.

Niagara had one run where they brought it to a one point game. Otherwise this was all SJU.

Whenever Lavin benches Jordan it always seems like a big deal but a game like this you could start Jamal Branch and not get hurt. And they didn't Jamal was one of the best players on the floor tonight. I also thought getting Stew and Amar minutes was good. Amar isn't going to get any better sitting on the bench against crap teams. He needs to learn on the floor. And other than two crappy fouls he was fine, even hit a three.
