Nice job by the whole squad. Especially Harrison and Greene. You could just see this game meant more to them than anyone else on the court. Great job guys, you deserve it.

Just because St.John's was dumb enough to copy them, doesn't mean we should follow them. We won. We already said everything we have to say.

I'm waiting to hear from a couple of other so-called "fans".

This is about the team, so don't worry about all the doubters, today. Free world, but tonight is about a gritty team, who played with fierce intensity. Phil was great at the end, but Dlo saved a ball from going out of bounds and Phil delivered with an awesome layup.
A fun team to root for!

Agreed. But when we get killed for beating lesser tier teams by certai posters here, and yet they get excited about other "teams" beating the Cleveland States of the world, I'm curious as to how they react to a great win like this.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
We finally beat those f'ing shit bag. FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Syracuse    We win you lose DAMMIT
I'll admit it, after the game was over I had tears, and I was shaking and still am,  I'm so freaking pumped.
And yeah I get on Lavin like no other, but this game was his best win, with his  recruit at St. John's.

This is to Johnny Flynn and all his buddy's on the bench that night, dancing on the sidelines as their bench players launching threes on us.
Remember them laughing just tclowning on us.
Remember Waiters while up 25pnts, trying to take the ball from Harrison, as he was just trying to kill the final :10, just to put it in our face.

#$%^ YOU, YOU RAT BASTARDS.   we win and you lose dammmmmmmmit.
Be back later   gotta try to relax

We didn't copy them. We were reacting to their claim. This is an opportunity to lord it over them, not to act like an adult, Poison. Join in the fun.

Took a while and a couple of drinks to come down.  Thanks to the TEAM for this win; great job.  Phil lived up to the "IV" hitting the first of his run with 4:04 left and dominating the last 4 minutes.  D'Angelo took care of the end of the 1st half to give us the lead which made the second half easier as we were not climbing back up hill.  Easier to win from the front.  Sir did one of the better jobs of getting inside the zone at the foul line and receiving and distributing the ball.

Glad for the seniors--now no let down against FDU.

Can't wait to see how many votes on Monday in the polls--we are playing good defense

I agree, let's brag, but this isn't how. It's pathetic to respond to their "claim". Think of your own claim. If we wanted that to be our claim we should have been smart enough to think of it first, but clearly we aren't. Let's take pride in being better than them tonight. This win means a lot for our program. Let's focus on the kids who made it happen. Phil Greene. D'Angelo Harrison. And the supporting cast. Well done. Finally, we got them.

Big key to the game: SJU 20-25 from the line, Syracuse 10-20. Need to shoot 80% from the stripe all year
