11 and 1.

I'm getting the feel on this board that this is an assumed done deal.  After a full weekend of congrats and well wishes from family and friends...followed by two days of classes with fellow students telling them how great they are...it's going to be tough as heck to come out with the proper mindset against FD on Wednesday.

A lot can go wrong between now and the big New Year's eve showdown with the Hall.  I for one believe that we'll lose at least one before the start of conference play.

I'm hoping that the players are able to adhere to the classic coach speak "one game at a time" cliche.

I know it's tough during the holidays but it's five in a row at home.  Let's all try and come out to the games as much as possible and do our share.

St. Mary's and long Beach will not be easy games if we are not up for them.

Not only will they not be easy games, they weren't added to the schedule to give us easy games. Lavin knows how good St.Mary's is every season. This is not to be confused with St.Francis. That program can play. Long Beach State, like us, has had a good season here and there, and this year, is one of those years. 
They are coming to our gym, and we're packing it with seniors. Let's see if we can pack it with fans, too.

No team is a patsy as NJIT proved for 20+ minutes against us and 40 against Michigan

If I'm Harrison, I'd 'be in everyones ear all day/every day. Telling them not to get cocky.
Reminding them of Yale beating UConn, and NJIT beating Michigan.
telling them "Lets not f this up, we're in great position to to get to the NCAA as of right now. If we truly want to get into the ncaa then beat the snot out of FDU, and Fordham, before playing St. Mary's and L B St.

To tell you the truth, I'm terrified of FDU and Fordham, we cannot sleep on them.
The first 10minutes tells me if their serious about wanting to get into the ncaa, if we're up 15 with 10 left in the first half, then i'll know that they're focused and we're good to go.

I am sure that is exactly what Harrison....Branch....and Greene are doing.....and every coach etc.     D'Lo said 'celebrate for a day and flush it".....the day is over!

Looking forward to the LBS game, this is the first time since Roberts was coach that I have been able to go to an SJU game. If they are ranked hopefully lower would be even better! I'm dragging my dad and father in law as well to the game. I'll make sure their pumped!

Those Johnnies lost to Niagara and Stamford. 

LBS is dangerous for last 3 year have been playing on the road against name teams. THey have lost significantly more then they have won but will not be easily intimidated Have been  starting conference play regularly  under.500

Any game that Obekpa gets into foul trouble, or god-forbid hurt, instantly becomes a potential loss.  Doesn't matter if its FDU or Duke.   That is going to be the case from now till March.  

If we make our 3s, our foul shots, and Obekpa stays on the court.... then as we saw Saturday, this team can beat a lot of people.

No its not, STJ plays Fordham next. A trap is when you have a big game , then a lesser opponent right before another huge game, not a game vs a team you beat by 50 last season.
