Loved Ponds from the get go. Like Dwight Hardy he is just a "guard" who can definitely get you buckets.

@AdamZagoria: 2016 G @ShamorieP tells @SNYtv he's looking at taking officials to St. John's Aug. 28-30 & Minnesota Sept. 18-20. No date for Providence.

Considering the September visit I guess that commitment isn't going to come as early as we had hoped.

So for now, Ponds will play in the Big Strick Classic on Saturday at the Gauchos Gym and then plan for his St. John’s visit.

Pollard said it’s possible Ponds could pull the trigger on or after that visit and forego the Minnesota visit.

“Unless St. John’s knocks his socks off to the point where he doesn’t take that visit,” Pollard said. “If St. John’s knocks his socks off you never know. You never could say never.”

This sounds like he's ours to me.  Our board pundits have been saying so, but this goes along with what our guys have been saying.

Good to hear hopes it works out. Top player from nyc would be a perfect way to kick off a huge 2016 class. Ponds is one of the couple guys I have wanted for a while now.
