With the 2014 year ending and the New Year and new semester to begin, what is the status and expectation for ADR's situation?
His brother JDR seems to be doing a better job than many expected and are pleased with his performance to date.

at this point, weight room, nutrition and practice and a red shirt are probably best for him atm.

I trust the compliance department at St.John's is handling the situation, and that there is nothing to worry about.

Adonis was not at yesterday's game.

He also missed a recent Garden game but was back at CA.  Garden and Barclays don't have as many seats on the bench and since we have 87 coaches I'm sure they figured it better to just not have him there.  Don't look into it more.

I think redshirts (or even non qualifying players) cannot travel to road games. Think back to the Sanchez and Hooper situations, I believe Max actually paid his own way to California .

Yeah he wasn't at Syracuse either. I think they're setting him up for a redshirt if need be.

He can go to MSG as it is a home game. Barclays was a road game even though a neutral site. At this point redhsirt him even if he is cleared. Why subject the rotation to a guy getting his feet wet in conf play

You trust our compliance department? I don't even think SJU has a compliance team.

At this point, it seems most likely that red shirting will be it for ADR.  Doesn't make much sense to suit him now.  His brother giving us some help in the post already, and we will likely have his brother back next year as well.  ADR is much more functional on the offensive end, but his brother has given us a lift on post defense which is enough for us right now.  Adonis should work on turning his body and mindset into an Adonis because he has some decent basketball skills and soft hands for a big guy.  He might develop into a decent offensive center with some hard work.
