Would not be surprised at random ailments and other things popping up from time to time like the Carnesccca Arena Flu.

Feb. 11th.  Circle it.

Larry Brown and Cal hired guys off the street so that they could recruit their kids. Tark had an asst adopt a kid who was a drug addict and illiterate. Wooden's players were paid. A little ass kissing to get through a season is not a big deal to me. I don't fault Lavin here. Coach's have sold their soul much worse than this for kids that they were not already a year and a half invested in.

You're getting slow Baldi.  I'm shocked you haven't commented that his one game suspension was likely self-imposed.  Got him out of another CA game!

From @NYPost_Brazille

Rysheed Jordan has returned from leave of absence, will play tomorrow and practice today.

St John's saying Rysheed Jordan was on leave after his grandmother passed away. Fail to mention repeated disciplinary issues.

D'Angelo Harrison said Jordan knows he let team down, happy he's back.

Bet my bottom drachma that DLo and some teammates contacted Sheed and said "We need you."

"I wish I knew how to quit you"
Hopefully neither Jordan or Harrison used that quote.
Not that there is anything wrong with it

I think he'll be back for Nova. The guys will play possessed tomorrow and improve to 2-0 without him to prove a point. He'll take another long weekend in Philly and drive back with friends and family. He has no leverage in this situation.

Got the outcome of a close Butler game wrong, but very sad when Marillac is the voice of reason. Might be time to retire the character...feels overdue with the Colbert Report done.
As a last present to the board...Marillac has Marco Baldi locked in an MSG bathroom for everyone to line up and kick in the ass before the Nova game.

Lavin should have recruited over him this year.

He couldn't even be bothered to recruit over Christian Jones.

'Lavin said no discipline was involved in Jordan's decision to leave the team and expressed surprise at questions about whether Jordan was upset about the sixth-man role he played in his last seven games.'

"Wow," Lavin said, "Let me put it this way. He had a very difficult week where he lost a loved one.  There's going to be a funeral Thursday, and we're trying to show as much support as we can and get ready for Villanova."'
