Something to root for...

Harrison needs to average 28 points a game over 20 games and he would pass Mullin as our all time scoring leader. 

We have 17 regular season games plus at least one Big East Tournament game. 

I know it's a long shot, but it something to root for.

Malik Sealy: 2402
Felipe Lopez: 1937
D'Angelo Harrison: 1885

I really like Harrison, but Mullin should be the leading scorer in school history. Most schools best player are never the school's leading scorer. I always liked that ours is. So I am not rooting for that.

How much better was mullin the Harrison ? Was he better then Christina laettner ? That's the best college player that I have seen.

I thought Jamal Mashburn was a better college player than Laettner. When I watched Jamal and Iverson in college I thought they could leave college early and do well in the league.

Imagine Mullin's total points if the 3 point rule had been in place.

Personally I hope he doesnt pass Mullin or Sealy.  If Dee is averaging 28+ a game, we likely arent getting enough support from the other guys to lead us to the dance....

Not the official totals Ibelieved, but now I see that for Danny Manning, it shows him with 147 games played. That has to include conference tourney games at the least. Here's the wiki scoring list. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NCAA_Division_I_men%27s_basketball_career_scoring_leaders

Yes, Mullin was the best SF in college basketball. Laettner wasn't the best center, but he played on a loaded team(s).

Mullin is one of the best pure shooters in the history of basketball. He scored 2440 points for St.John's when they always played a man's schedule in the pre season and in the BE.

And, there was no 3 point shot when Mullin played college ball. Imagine how many points he would have scored.

Harrison at 3rd is the right place for him, an SJU legend even if he doesn't ever play in the tourney. Glad to have watched him for four years.

Laettner, Mashburn?  Mullin better than these two as was, Bird, Johnson
,Ewing, Walton, Russell, West, Lucas, Robertson, Jabbar etc to name few of the obvious.....Oh wait, forgot Im OLD....at least I didn't mention Mikan

Kemba Walker, at least his last year.

As much as I like D'Lo, he's not on the same level as Mullin and Sealy.
