Harrison needs to average 28 points a game over 20 games and he would pass Mullin as our all time scoring leader.

We have 17 regular season games plus at least one Big East Tournament game.

I know it's a long shot, but it something to root for.

Chris Mullin: 2440
Malik Sealy: 2402
Felipe Lopez: 1937
D'Angelo Harrison: 1885

Personally I hope he doesnt pass Mullin or Sealy.  If Dee is averaging 28+ a game, we likely arent getting enough support from the other guys to lead us to the dance....

Do tourney games count to scoring record?

I believe they do.

"For career record purposes, a player’s statistics are recognized by the Association only for the years for
which the individual’s institution was a full-fledged member of the Association. In the event an individual’s
institution changed divisions while a member, career statistics for the individual are credited only in the
division in which he or she actually competed each year. The player’s full career statistics (while competing
for full-fledged member institutions) are recognized in the collegiate records category, however.

All official games played count toward an athlete’s career statistics including games played in a redshirt
season"

How many games did D'Angelo miss at the end of his Sophomore season?

Maravich, Mullin, Laettner, Anthony, Manning

My all time team.   I guess Walton should be there also.   Ewing.  Impossible to narrow it down.

To me the two most dominant college centers were Kareem & Walton. I know many did not see Kareem play, but realize the NCAA banned dunking when he was playing to even playing field. He was in my era & I am biased because I actually saw him in grade school. By his Soph year at Power Memorial he had pro skills. In college he exhibited super skills in every facet of the game. Walton in college also dominated and was one of most cerebral players I ever saw. Push comes to shove, Kareem Abdul Jabbar or "Lew Alcindor" originally wins out.

Anyone else think Walter Berry was a better College player than Chris Mullin?

Laetner is the best college player I've seen. Mullin included

Carmelo Anthony is the best college player I've seen.

He was great for one year, if he had a fuller career he may have been the best ever

Berry was a phenomenal talent but Chris was a more complete player.  Also, the length of his college career, doing it for four years rather than two, puts Mullin ahead of Berry.

I agree, which is why I would rank Laetnner ahead of Carmello

He said in his description that the player's college career had to be more meaningful than his pro career. That is a pretty awful way to rank these players. A list with no Mullin and no Ewing? That guy is just f'ing around.

I would agree, although one could make the case for Camelo because he, as a freshman, was totally dominant and carried his team to a national championship (and singlehandedly created the legend that is Jim Boeheim).

You think Boeheim owes it all to Melo? The season we had last year, the one where we won 20 games would be as good as the worst season Jim Boeheim has ever had. That is what makes him a legend. Consistency.

Then you never saw Bill Walton.

Then trust me, the best skillwise, and successwise there ever was. If CR was around he'd chime in right about now.

No doubt. I was born in 74 so my time would probably be mid 80s and on.  I caught the tail end of Walton's career when he was on the Celtics. But  there is no doubt he was dominant college player

Just a joke.  It was so over the top that I didn't think I needed a winky.  My bad.
