With Jordan I would have voted yes. Too many shortcomings by our coach to overcome lack of depth.

Baldi - I saw your comment earlier in thread. Was that fact, or a possibility? If he's not coming back in two weeks, then you are going to be correct. Someone else asked you that, but I didn't see your answer.  I think Rysheed is back by end of break - contrarian, yes. But why not just be done with him if it is that egregious an issue?.

class starts 1/21 , if hes not back by then, then the season, the coach and the poor seniors season is history.

About hardship waiver? Just a guess

Does a team that plays 5 ever make it? Staff ruined our chances by taking a couple of years off.

Real problem is only 2 of them can score. And that is counting Phil Greene

The issue is that there is 1 scholarship player on this roster from the last two recruiting seasons....  1 !

That, is flat out embarrassing , and imo, reason for a firing.

Lavin will spin that as a positive saying he is winning and saving the school money at the same time. Maybe it is his goal to field a team of all walk-ons. We can be the Bad News Bears of college basketball.

Even if they make it...will it matter?

That could turn out to be the correct guess.  Two weeks to find out.

with a much worse OOC resume slate last year and an 0-5 start to BE play, we still found ourselves alive entering the BE tourney season. Its never as bad as it seems, well until it is as bad as it seems.

It is bad. Having 5 guys who can play is a rough deal, especially for CO vs. Nova. They got Pinky and Achofu up front. Our staff has not been able to land a guy like either of them since they're here. No depth or size and 5 usable players. Six wins and our kids deserve canyon of hero's. I'm pulling for the kids, but how can it get better when coach needs them to play 40. It just started and they ran out of juice both games when it was winning time. Ya gatta have legs down the stretch. The staff takes 2 years off and players with one year left to get it done get left holding the bag.
