Every win in college sports is a must win. So to speak. It's not like in pro sports where u can lose by 30 to a team in the NBA one night and win the next, the standings say 1-1. In college sports a team always tries to build a resume. Think like this, if sju loses to njit, it stays with them throughout the year, no matter how they do the rest of season. So by commitee terms it's a must win, whether it's game 1 or 30.
Now, here we are at 0-3 with no bad loses. If sju wins at providence, their record is 1-3, however it's a good win for their resume , yet they are still a bottom team in league. That win goes a long way based on how both teams do rest of way. In pro sports, a team can beat a good team but it still looks the same as if they beat a bad team.
So in essence, this is a must win, as is every game. All games won't be wins but whether they were 3-0, this would still be a must win because they are always building resume wins.
