i know theres nothing anyone could ahve done about it, but this team would be just so much better
if Sampson had returned.    Jakarr for all his weaknesses could rebound, played excellent D when he wanted to, and was another shot blocker.
Were missing a true PF.

I wanted Sampson back, although I thought he was a bit selfish.  No doubt he would've helped.

Jordan irks me, though.  I'm a big fan of the kid, but sheesh.  Tonight would've been a perfect time for him to take over.

Agreed, we all had high hopes for Rysheed.   And he clearly has the ability.
But to say hes been inconsistent would be generous.
How many games this season would you say he's had a "good" game?   4? 5?
without looking, i cant remember more than that.     And thats pretty weak for a guy predicted to be 1st or 2nd team all conference.

Not that its everything because we all know he does more than score but Jordan has had 10 games of 17+ pts and 13 with 15+ pts.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Jordan is making a huge mistake if he leaves for the pros after this year. He won't get drafted and he'll languish in the D league.

If he's smart, he comes back next year a much more mature player. He needs to learn how to be a more complete player. He forces way too many shots, makes horrible decisions on fast breaks and drives out of control into opposing players way too often. Definitely not a PG because his handle isn't even that strong. He better refine his SG skills if he wants any chance at the pros. All the more reason for him to return next year.

Ugh had this game dvrd but mistakenly went to ESPN.com on my phone and saw the score

Should I even bother watching?
Between the absurd officiating (we've been getting a lot of that recently) to the terrible play, t's one of the more difficult and frustrating games to watch in a while.   I would say no.  I almost deleted it from the DVR just so my father wouldn't have to watch it...

You would see the very rare basket by JDR.

JDR looked good on that play. Equally bad missing a layup a minute after

He did looked fluid on his basket.  I thought he was fouled on the missed layup.

No, even when it was close for the first 10mins the game was ugly.

Terrible effort by SJU last night. Injuries didn't help either. I expected the loss so I'm not too concerned but no room for error from this point on. Can only lose to Nova before the BET.

It is a good thing that rebounding is not important or we may have been beaten badly last night.   ::)

Thought effort was fine. We missed a bunch of easy shots. They hit a bunch of shots. We have way to many turnovers . I don't think this is a bad matchup for us. We just have to play better. If Harrison was not hurt we look a lot better. We lost but they are a good team .

If Harrison was hurting last night as many claim and I am not disputing that than why the heck was he still in the game late in a blowout not to mention he was ineffective anyway?

Is it possible that Lavin didn't call a single timeout during the entire game on Tuesday?    I don't remember that, but I was just reading a georgetown blog, and that's what they claim.

The link shows us calling a timeout with 55 seconds left in the 1st half.  I thought that was a Gtown timeout but I guess I was wrong.

89, as you mentioned, injuries didn't help. We know this team can throw stinker when healthy but really gonna be tough beating a good team if CO and Dlo don't heal up. If Jordan had showed us a 22 pt, 8 reb, 8 assist game against good teams we of course would be in better shape. We seen what he's got. Dom been giving it all and realistically so has Phil.. The senior Branch can step it up by picking up some of a hurting Dlo's minutes and giving coach an option if Jordans asleep at the wheel. Blood and guts the rest of the way.
