I have an eery feeling about this.  Memories of last year haunt.  I am very worried Dunn will try to take over in the first half and not wait until the second.

I wonder who will guard him.  If it's Jordan, he needs to avoid foul trouble in the first half....avoid two quick fouls.   Harris has not been starting but has been an offensive threat off the bench.

Been going back and forth on this game. I think with a fully healthy team which we will have by all accounts that we will take this game. Dlo is the healthiest he has been in a while and Jamal and Obepka are good to go from what I have been hearing.

Always hard to beat someone 3x in a year...

I do think we win....    SJU wins 73 - 67

Thoughts - if SJU beats them 3x this year, will they still get a higher NCAA seeding..?

Gonna be tough game but this team has not won a BE tournament game so this is one of their challenges to themselves which adds to the motivation.

The players need this game to get everything clicking for the NCAA Tournament. Yes, this tournament matters, but it's essential for the future of the program that everything our current coach has built turns into something memorable.

Lavin got us back on the map. Now he needs to get us national respect. This is the last chance we have of winning a BE tournament game with this group. I can't imagine they won't be ready. They pulled out big wins against Xavier and Georgetown recently. They need to play like they did vs Georgetown. That was a terrific show.

St.John's 75, Providence 67

Harrison with 21. Pointer ads 20, Jordan with 16 and Phil Greene gives us 14.
The great LeDonte Henton struggles again with the assignment of guarding Dom Pointer.

what kind of crowd can we expect? it's the first time i'm ducking out of work to go to one of the day games.  Hopefully, they keep dunn locked down in the first half and get out to a big lead

Lavin fouls in that situation, which is the right move

My boy Greene isn't leaving this game with less than 18.  Take that to the bank!

CO is nowhere close to 100%.  They are concerned about his health , big time.

CO hasn't been 100% in a long time. That ankle is still a concern but I would be very surprised if he doesn't play and play pretty well. Jamal will be playing, words from his own mouth whatever that is worth because the decision isn't up to him fully.
