Dunn just falls twice and gets foul calls. Must be nice to be BEPOY.

We may have just gotten ourselves off the 8/9 game after all...:(
we will be playing in Dayton

Let's make a wager.
Actually, I think this may put us in the 8/9 game.
I just feel like they are gonna screw the BE and it's not going to look good when we lost are last 2 games by double digits.

Put your paranoia to rest.  This team has a top 35 RPI rating and their SOS is similar.  They play in the #2 rated conference, per RPI ratings, in the country.

The play-in game is relegated to teams barely making the field.  That ain't happening, bruh.

MJ I think you are right re: play-in games, but I also think we are going to be one of the last 2 9s or first 2 10s.  8 is off the table at this point, IMO.

8/9 is relevant, so it's semantics.  Nevertheless, I still believe we're going to be either an 8 or 9 seed once Sunday rolls around.

how a team plays at the end doesn't affect seedings any more. Committee uses body of work.

Thank you, purist.  Some folks can't control their emotions like middle or high school girls.   Either that or they don't know how the system works, paranoid, or both.

Say what you want about him, but Rysheed is showing more heart right now then every player on our team combined.

This game is not on Lavin. Harrison and pointer didn't show up. Neither did Phil . Not a great day for the seniors.

Forgetting the guy who thinks we're in the play-in game, this is now our THIRD game where we have just looked awful against good teams.  It affects things.  I think everyone would agree 1-2 seed drop depending how other teams do would not be unreasonable.  Thus if we were an 8/9, 9/10 is certianly reasonable.  If we were a 6/7, then 8 is now reasonable.

11 would be shocking, but they ARE allowed to move you a seed lower than you deserve to make all the matchups work.  I'd rather an 11 than a 9 anyway...as long as it's not in dayton to start!

What an awful showing on a big stage. They were slower to every loose ball and looked like they were sleeping in the first half. Harrison (especially), Greene and Pointer all went MIA today. Very lackluster  game.

Can't make the semifinals in a watered down league with a team full of upperclassmen. Ugh. This better be a wake up call. One and done in both the BET and NCAA tourney is not acceptable this year

Never expected Harrison, Pointer and Greene to all play their worst games of the year.

Complete no show by the seniors today. Really?
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

It's not ENTIRELY on lavin, but it is the responsibility of the coach to make sure his team is ready to play, not just physically but emotionally.  My guess is the guys put too much pressure on themselves and hopefully a diff team shows up next week.

It doesn't bother me so much that we lost this game.
It bothers me that we've looked real bad for two consecutive games.  Arguably our worst two performances of the year.

I also really feel for Harrison Dom and Phil.   They didn't play well today.
But for all theyve given to SJU, they deserved to win a BE game at some point in their careers.  It's a sin that they won't.

I wasn't referring to you, Kid.  To a few others.  Especially, over at Redmen.

11 seed or lower for high-majors are mainly for teams who barely made the tournament.  Like purist stated, we're not gonna drop that far down by losing two games in a row.  We're gonna drop, but this isn't the polls.  We'll probably drop a spot in the seedings.

But one has to realize we were anywhere between a 6-8 seed.  So, I seriously doubt we drop to a 10, and certainly not an 11 seed.  The former is doubtful, while the latter is insane.

We're never gonna win when Harrison, Pointer, and Greene crap the bed.  If one of 'em has an 'off' game, then usually the other 2 pick it up.  Today, all 3 of 'em played like a stinkin' turd.

Tough loss. What has been a great season thus far has me feeling a bit down after these last two. I can take losing, but not like this. This falls on the players and the staff equally. Cooley made adjustments from prior games that Lavin did not answer and our best players underperformed.  I don't want what has been a fun season to die with three straight bad losses. Let's hope we get a good draw on Sunday and that the seniors go out on a better note.

Desco I have the exact same views as you. Let's hope we get a W next week and make a little noise to cap off the seniors' careers. I don't want them going out with three l's.  Really wanted them to play in a Fri night game.

Me too!     Tomorrow's my birthday, I have 7 friends coming to the garden because i expected we'd be playing on Friday night.

Eh, oh well.
Lets hope they get a favorable matchup in the NCAAs and get things clicking.

It's frustrating beyond belief that Cooley got the better of us for the second year in a row.

It would have been nice to make a run in the BE tournament but losing early might be the best thing for this team to try and get healthy.

Root hard for Nova, Desco. Prov fans are insufferable.
