Good use of emoticons. Baldi's is the only sane one of the bunch at this point

I've been the most realistic jackarse here in months. You dudes need to start reading between the lines. Why would Lavin say he is a poor conference tournament coach. He's asking to be fired or saw writing on the wall

Yeah that was silly but I just think he farts stuff out and doesn't really put too much thought into. That comment could come back to haunt him if he interviews at another school. If I am AD that would be my first question.

What about sitting him down and talking to him? What about finding another way? Either you cover it up, or you find a coach that will.

The real disgrace here is that Lavin has decided to ruin the season for the remaining players and for the fans.

What is the penalty for a positive drug test?

The penalty for positive tests of both performance-enhancing and street drugs is strict and automatic. Student-athletes lose one full year of eligibility for the first offense (25 percent of their total eligibility) and are withheld from competition for a full season. A second positive test for street drugs results in another lost year of eligibility and year withheld from competition. A second positive result for PED usage will render the student-athlete permanently ineligible.

What is the penalty for failing a school-issued drug test?

Each NCAA member is responsible for determining whether to establish an institutional drug-testing program, at which time the school would be responsible for determining applicable penalties. If a testing program is established, though, the school is obligated to enforce the penalties. Failure to do so can lead to NCAA sanctions.

So it is my understanding that a self imposed suspension would keep CO from losing a year of eligibility. Not sure if he would lose that eligibility this year or next.
Thank you seem we have a few here who would be happy with the Syracuse type morality

Second interview question. Do you feel pressure to win even though your not at UCLA?

Who would be on the short list of coaches they would consider if Lavin is gone next year? Cluess, Masiello?

Cluess, Massiello, and the Hurleys would be the first few calls I'm sure.

I would be very happy with a program that is guilty of some under the table payments, some academic fraud and some failed drug tests than a program like ours, for example who is guilty of under the table payments, failed drug tests, assault and oh yea, murder.

Give me SU and all of their massively insignificant "crimes" to go along with their wins over top 25 programs, their NCAA appearances and the success at getting talent to the next level.

I'd be able to live with myself just fine.

I really thought this was a joke. Was the program built on an Indian burial ground or something? Probably our most indispensable player considering the crap that backs him up.

It's ironic you said that.  I was saying to myself, "We've gotten rid of the Native American moniker, and still can't shake the constant crappy scenarios."  Like some bad karma keeps creeping in since the name change.

They never would have had to change their name if they didn't first add the Native American theme to "Redmen" in the first place. They made their bed there.

Syracuse didn't fix games. Boston College did.

They should be angry with their coach. He gave the 2 week suspension. A suspension isn't mandatory. There a million ways to handle this. Lavin chose this solution. It says an awful lot about this pathetic university.  Lavin wants to be a teacher. Go be a f'n teacher, and stop ruining every God damn season.
