What's your highest priority for next step?
« on: April 12, 2015, 10:17:00 AM »
1) Slice gets done.

2) Jordan stays.

3) Diallo commits.

4) Sampson re-commits.

5) Add big man coach to staff.

6) Point guard as backup for and/or replacement for Jordan

2 and 4. Those 2 will make us competitive and fun to watch next season and help bridge the gap to "Mullins" recruits.

3, 4 and 6 are equally important. If we land all 3, and Obekpa and Jordan both stay + Derien Williams, we'll have 6 BE players. Not enough to field a competitive team. They'd still need another 6 or 7 players.

You started some positive vibe talk a while ago, and nothing is off the table.  Mullin, Matt and crew just might run the table - hope springs eternal.

1 and 4 for me. I think Sampson is a Harrison type player who will be here for 3-4 years and be that elite scorer that can take your team to the next level. I really want slice and I hope that gets done. I think he is more important than any one player jsut because of his reputation in the area. Him and Matt A would be a hell of a team to recruit with Chris.

The staff is the most important thing right now. Getting it right will pay big dividends for many years. Next is getting a proven player in Rysheed back. Then I'd rank Sampson, because we need another scorer. Lovett or Mussini would be next for backup PG. Finally Diallo would be the cherry on top of everything. He's a very good player but we have bigger needs.

So:
Staff
Rysheed
Sampson
Lovett or Mussini
Diallo

Don't forget about Damion Lee.   He would probably have the biggest impact on next season.

Hard to include when we have seen very little evidence of his interest and he has every high major program after him.

Don't think we were ever in this race.

Definitely, of course.  Why would he spend his last year in college, with a major rebuild, when he could go to Kansas or Arizona?

Add Maryland in there. There's a new sheriff in the B1G.
