Can't be this weekend either Ayala or someone in his camp is mixed up.  Dead Period begins tomorrow thru Friday 5/29.

He was at the UA event in Ardsley.  Again he mentions visiting campus tomorrow but again we are in a Dead Period, visits are not allowed:

Currently, the 6-4 190lb shooting guard is on the top of the leader board of guards in the Delaware state. This weekend the rising junior is taking an unexpected visit with the Red Storm program. "I'm suppose to be visiting St Johns [on Sunday]," said Ayala.

The guard was ask what he knew about the St John's program and head coach Chris Mullin, "One of our players Malik Ellison just committed there he played with WER1 last year. It's a pretty good school. Rysheed Jordan, he's from around that area. I see my game like his; I play like him a little bit."Ayala then spoke about Mullin saying, "I'm sure he's a pretty good coach. He's played in the NBA so he knows how the game goes. I seen highlights of him play."

He's a two star sophomore with an offer from Morgan State. How can be be overrated, unless he's a field hockey player.

Staff seems to really like this kid.  They jumped on him early.

Ayala, who holds an offer from the Red Storm, took a visit to St. John’s. The 2017 recruit was impressed by new head coach Chris Mullin.

“Straight up guy,” Ayala said of the former NBA star. “He gives it to you how it is. He doesn’t sugar coat anything...he told us how it was going to be and I like that about him.”

Offers have already started to flow in for the 2017 shooting guard. "Cincinnati, Temple, Iona, LaSalle" are on board said Ayala but according to him, St. John's has been recruiting him the hardest. "They made the offer to me during the first [Under Amour] session in New Orleans," he said.

The Delaware native has also shown his interest in SJU by taking an unofficial visit to the Big East School. "I like the campus and the coaches, " said Ayala regarding the visit.
