Manute Bol died 7 years ago.  Bol Bol would have only been a little kid at that poiny. Depends on how close, if any relationship continued and was there prior to Mullin becoming a coach.  Can't just come out of woodwork playing the close friend card.

St.John's comes out of the woodwork when they need something. Like they say, they're a family, and if you think about it, everyone has a relative that's always got his hand out.

Maybe, but I also heard he doesn't particularly have the best people around him.  I believe he's gone to four different high schools in the past 3-3 1/2 years.
