I never thought I'd see the day when we were worried about losing the Balamou's of the world.  Wow!

What are you talking about. Half a dozen years ago we were worried about losing Phil Missere.

WTF is with waiting until 2 hours before games to release news like this? Reminds me of the Obekpa news the day of selection sunday.

Felix was not going to impact this season at all. Feel bad for him though.

How can you say that?

A Lavin-hitler comparison.   You guys seriously have to stop with this junk, its getting unbearable. The  guy isn't here. Move on with your lives!  I'm sure y'all know him personally and have every right to make a judgement on his character and call him worse than Hitler  ::) but I actually worked with him on a personal level for several charity events as an undergrad and he was a great guy and always willing to do whatever it took to help us out. Sorry for the anecdotal post but the personal attacks need to end.

So, we don't know what Balamou did, but whatever it is, it's Lavin's fault?

(if the report is true) Lavin recruited him, turned a blind eye to whatever the offense was, and then leaked it on the eve of Balamou's senior year. This after costing FB a year of eligibility by activating him for a game to teach that other psycho Lavin recruited a lesson. So yes, it's Lavin's fault.

I cannot believe this guy turned out to be worse than I even imagined. I had him pegged as worse than Hitler. Turns out for once in my life I was an optimist.

If Foad's theory is true, then Lavin would have cost Felix two years… Remember he blew up his redshirt season when Jordan went AWOL

Fine, that was a bit of hyperbole.  He is however worse than Himmler. At least we can agree on that.

Does it bring into question that if Lavin stayed longer SJU would have had sanctions against them again? There was a lot of smoke while he was the coach.

Lavin is being criticized for leaving the team empty, but maybe that was his biggest gift of all. He cleaned house for Mullin, who is able to rebuild right away...This is the second player that is ruled ineligible from last season, which is impressive considering there is practically no one left from that team.

Wonder if a certain bitter former member of the St johns basketball admin, who I believe posted here, leaked it
Monasch?  He didn't look too happy at the Mullin presser.
