We're going to lose by 10+, but this was an encouraging, bounce-back, performance.
On to the next one as they say.   Hopefully they're learning a little bit more every game.

Much better effort out of the young squad today. Some encouraging signs from Mussini, Balamou, Sima and M'Vouika.

Mussini can stroke from deep.

For what we have, this was a good game.

I like the effort they showed when it looked like this one could have turned out like yesterday. Now please don't lose to Chaminade tomorrow

Agreed, I have no problem with today's showing. Well maybe except Felix shooting from outside the lane

This experience will go a long way for this team

What happened to Johnson?

Also, that self pass no call was brutal. I wanted a close game and I got it, so I'm proud of this game. I hate saying that but dudes showed balls today against #13.

Great effort.  M'Vouika killed us with TWO fouls on wild three pointers and that turnover at the end when we were down 6-7.  Ouch.
Mussini looks like a legit stud once again.  Balamou got to the tin at will...IU had no chance to stop him.  14 pts, 4 boards, and 4 assists.  He set up the shooters nicely.  I wish he could have that missed year back.

Good experience for the team.

Have not seen the game yet but only 7 assists. All by Felix and Ron.

I think it was with a minute left and the Indiana player stole the ball, threw it in the air, caught it and made a layup.

Mussini does everything on offense that we've been asking for for years.  He can get to the rim, he can pass, and he can shoot.  This may seem crazy from a huge D'Lo fan, but from a purely offensive standpoint, I'd take Mussini over Harrison.  There are not many more impressive freshmen out there.  He's clearly a top 50 caliber talent.

This team does a ton of one-on-one from the low and mid post.

If he didn't have to run the point and could catch and shoot he'd average 20+ points a game.

Mussini IQ is much higher at this stage than D-Lo was. Doesn't take as many bad shots as D-Lo

I can't believe how in control Felix has been. That glide to the hoop is so pretty. This really creates matchup problems

Indiana had no chance to stop him.   It really just comes down to him making it or missing it. He should have thrown that last one down.  I don't think he anticipated how easily he would beat his guy.

Come on man, waiting for your updated assessment of Johnson. Just once could you say you may have been a tad off on him being all Big East player this year? :)

Agree with Baldi on Felix being a 10 feet and in, take it to the basket guy.  But been impressed by how under control he looks.

I'm still holding out hope that we've not seen the best of Durand...

I think it goes without saying at this point, but I'll say it for the record:  he has been disappointing and I've been wrong.  He shows absolutely no desire to take control and Balamou, Jones, and M'Vouika all do.  We're five games in and he is new to this team, but if he doesn't take the reigns soon he never will.  Balamou loks like a better option than him right now.
