Wow. I didn't think there was any chance we'd win this game. Wow. Huge win. One of my favorites of all time

Thank god our staff had the balls to invite the recruits they did to this game!

We shredded their 2-3.   Double-hi destroyed them.  We went hi-lo out of it and kicked it out for open threes..  Totally out coached their zone and our guys were poised.  Nothing feels better than beating Syracuse at home...

Amazing win.  No one expected this

That was fun to watch.

We controlled the game, IMO.  If we can get LoVett, and a healthy Ellison and Williams, then we're gonna surprise some people, as I've long thought. We could wind up a 7th place team in the Big East with that particular group.

Good job, Johnnies!

Went to the garden expecting a blowout.  Never in a million years did I think we'd win. Great game. But let's be honest Excuse did us a huge favor by not putting pressure or trapping.

Whatever. This is huge and great to have had so many recruits at the game

Side note, in case it wasn't caught on TV, Mullin and Pearl had a long embrace after the game. It was nice to see.

Guys sorry been lacking on the blogs lately. My Grandfather has been really sick and passed away late last night. This game was a great tribute to him and he would have loved to see his countrymen Mussini and Alibegovic playing out of their minds. This game was really uplifting for my fam. I'll never forget it

It was the same zone offense that Pitino used a few years ago in the BE champ game that Syracuse had no answer for. It's the perfect zone offense. We don't even the ideal personnel to run that offense and it still worked great

Condolences Dave

Was great to see a SJU team come into a game against Cuse with a real game plan , and then be able to execute it... Very fun to watch..  Yakwe can be great.. Durand played well, with some bonehead moments mixed in...  Amar hit some huge shots, but needs to be smarter on the court at times... Mussini was Mussini...  Sima battled... Great all around...

Type of win this young team should be able to build on.

Sincere condolences Dave.   Prayers to you and your family.

Great win today by a team that is still finding it's way.   Hopefully this was just a glimpse of where the program is headed.
