By the way Incarnate Word actually lost to Our Lady Of The Lake in their last game. That's not a joke

Which one of the 9 people on this coaching staff is the X and O guy again?   Zero adjustments against Incarnate Word... It's not all the players, most of whom are freshmen.. Coaches need to put them in position to be successful... That hasn't happened in this game.

Again, just letting them run their offense and take 30 seconds off the clock each possession. Makes 0 sense

Mullin & staff looked equally flat...  players played bad but the coaching was not good on the floor or halftime.

Should have put in Elijah Holifield and Abdul Dial.

I was asked to attend a high school basketball tournament tonight (I could've gone for free), and decided not to go, so I could watch the Johnnies' game.  I have a feeling I'm gonna skip out on a few Johnnies games, this season.

Transition season....  Yes, I already knew that.  But, I'm not a fan of getting smoked by D-2 squads, and the Fordham's and Incarnate World's.

How the hell do we beat Syracuse then get housed by Incarnate Word in the same week? I'm at a loss.

This one is 10x worse that St. Thomas Aquinas because we had some momentum and this one counts. Hope Bashir doesn't get scared off by this horsecrap

Mullin made a mad dash for the lockerroom after some very quick handshakes down the line.

Will be interesting to hear his post game commentary... What I want to hear, besides him congratulating the other team for playing well is to take responsibility for the flat effort, poor defense, continued trend on turnovers etc.     Need to see fire in the belly.....

less than 48 hrs before NJIT.......

Everyone played lousy, but I really hope they keep Christian Jones on the bench.  He's just not that good... bad hands, no touch etc.   I cringe every time he gets near the ball.

Precisely why, though I loved every second of the Cuse game, I commented that it had no impact on my outlook for the season, nor did it increase my expectations one iota.  This is a learning and development year for the players and the staff.  My hope is that embarrassing games like this will result in better performances in future games.  But there will be plenty more of these, just as I think we'll have a few more positive moments as well.

Players have to defend. They didn't bother.

can't afford for these guys to have a punishing Sat practice....that's too easy.

maybe they just need to be forced to watch Tony Robbins motivational DVD's for 10 straight hours or something equally painful for a group of college kids.   Follow that by some Richard Simmons workout VHS tapes and some Kenny G music.

The content itself won't motivate them but they'll hate it so much they'll never want to get the in the position of having to watch it again after an embarassing  loss.

What are the chances we sign this IW team up for a game next year. ?    After all we should be booking an easy W during final week....    ::)

It wasn't the fact that we lost to them that surprised me. We have trouble with smaller quicker teams that shoot the three, get in the passing lanes, deny and steal passes, and disrupt offenses.  This is what St. Francis and Niagara did. (The cuse coach was hallucinating when he watched film on us).  It was how bad we lost to them that got me.  We looked hapless.  How many threes did they hit on ball screens?  That shouldn't happen.  They just out executed us tonight.  And they took the clock down to one second, and made the shot with one second left, time and time again.  It was amazing, and you have to give them a lot of credit.

Also, we knew Mussini would struggle against taller athletic point guards.  But it also appears he struggles against smaller point guards.  That guy gave him a lot of trouble and it looked like he was thrown off his game.  Creighton is a smaller, quicker team that shoots threes and they play smart. They're a team from the second half of the league, but it's unfortunate we do not match up with them.
