Xavier always plays the Johnnies tough since they entered the BE. Add to that that they're a veteran ranked squad this year and this should be a decisive win for the bad guys tonight.

I just want to see our coaches perform like they did for the Syracuse game. Let's see a well coached team.

If we're within 5, I'll count it as a personal/team win, if not one if the record books.

my goals to see

- Strong game for Sima on the boards and FT's
DJ at least attempt to look around to see if anyone else has a better shot, before he does
- Mussini at hit 2 from deep and not miss more than 2 from deep (2-4 I'll take)
- Ellison to show more positive signs of potential
- Yakwe to remove the headband and put some extra pop on his FT shots.
- Mvouika to stop complaining to refs

I think we win this game. 69-67. Mussini with 20 and double double for Sima

I want what you've been smoking. I'll be mildly surprised if we win another game this year. DePaul at home is our only real chance

Even Norm beat some big teams with a less talent and staff

Norm was the weak link on Norm's staff.

M'vouika moves his mouth instead of his feet. He should not be starting anymore.

We are 15 point underdogs. I'd be happy if we cover the spread. You can also get 10/1 on the money line

Hopefully as the season moves on, we'll see a starting five of Sima, Yakwe, Ellison, Mussini and whoever else you want to throw in there.

The old guys will at least keep the games some what respectable. These freshman are not good enough to sit Felix, Durand, and Ron. The games will be awful enough no reason to make it worse. The young guys will still get plenty of minutes.

The old guys are the problem, too. I don't think M'vouika has 20 points in the last 5 games.

Not saying Ron is good. But he is smart. I think he plays ok team defense. He rebounds. I know it is crazy to attqck the freshman an I am not expecting them to win big east games. But they are not as good as DJ Kennedy or Paris Horne were as freshman in my opinion. I think Ellison and mussini are role players next year. Mussini is not a PG, not a SG either. I think it would be tough to play mussini, Lovett, and ponds at the same time. As for Ellison - he was compared to DJ. Maybe my expectations were to high. But I don't see DJ Kennedy .

so you might be saying by the end of the year Norm is a better coach than Mullin if that happens

Dj and Paris both had their share of disastrous games as freshman. They lost just as many games to shit schools. They also had a senior captain who stopped trying midway through the season.
