Wow does Mussini suck.
Can't say that. He is freshman playing out of position.

Mussini considered turning pro last year. Unless he's playing with pro ball in the NYC Urban Professional Basketball League, he's going to be a point guard, because he's nowhere near as fast you need to be to play the 2 in the NBA, or shit, even the NBDL. If he's not a point guard, what is he then?

Turning pro doesn't necessarily mean playing in the NBA. It just means playing for a paycheck which would kill any NCAA eligibility which is why it was a big deal at the time. He's a 4 year player that programs like Gonzaga (who was also recruiting him) get when they are trying to build or maintain a consistent program

Durand Johnson can build a house with all the bricks he's shot tonight

Sure but he and MV are the only ones creating any shots

Durand takes bad shots early in the shot clock. The shot he takes can be had at any time in the clock. If you are going to take a shot early in the clock it shouldn't be a long contested 2 or a contested 3 for 2-3 feet behind the line

BS technical call!  That's crap!  He wasn't showing up the refs.

That may cost us.  We should've gotten the rebound there, though.

Mussini got fouled in the first place on that rebound. Then they call the T on him for nothing

Overall very good effort from everybody and definitely a step in the right direction. I definitely didn't think this game would be near as close as it turned out to be especially after the horrendous start. Like the way they battled in the 2nd half without Sima and made a game of it but in the end X is just too talented and experienced.

Johnson was terrible and Mvoika wasn't good either. Wouldn't mind seeing them ride the pine more especially when their shots aren't falling. Also interesting that it was Jones Mvoika and Amar down the stretch over Felix Yakwe and Ellison. Those were the guys that were in when we made it close so no reason to take them out I guess. I expect the staff to ride the hot hands like that throughout the season.

Mussini shot in the 2nd half like he did in the Syracuse game and spot up shooting is his strength. Having Lovett and Ponds running the offense and letting Mussini work off the ball should do him wonders next year.

Johnson & Ron M a combined 11/30 from the field.

Second half was at least fun. Mullin with his shirt untucked AND sitting on the table, now that's entertainment.  Really liked the full court 1-2-1-1

*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

If we could just avoid even a small fraction of the dumb decisions, poor/forced shot attempts that continue to plague it would have been nice.

Don't get me wrong...good effort but when we missed a chance to score or turnover ...they are bone headed mistakes that were just as bone headed earlier in the season.

Wow does Mussini suck.

He does?  I saw a Freshman first hand tonight bring a few thousand fans to their feet in great applause...

Proud of this program's effort, attitude, and overall improvement over the past month. 0-6 doesn't show the progression, but their day is going to come, the breakthrough is right around the corner. Looking forward to these next two games, but really hope that we have Sima for Ellenson.

I don't like his attitude. And I don't like that he wasn't ready to play either guard position. He's tiny. Is he that full of himself that he thinks he's a shooting guard in the BE? Tonight was a anomaly. Most teams aren't going to zone us, and Mussini will be in over his head. Hopefully, he grows the F up and doesn't pull that anything like that again.

M'vouika, Johnson and Jones play like freshman.

Johnson & Ron M a combined 11/30 from the field.

Eli Carter could have done that by himself.
