Baldi wasn't wrong.

Things happen and things change.

It will all come out in due time.  Most of you should probably be able to figure it out.  It isn't complicated.

One has to assume hat if he looked into transferring, a large part of it must be frustration with inability to play this season.  He certainly has had a history of hopping around and those are the issues that REALLY cost him his freshmen eligibility.  The grass won't be greener if he leaves and hopefully those cooler heads prevail.  He had talent and if he starts growing up and taking the reigns without hopping around, he will see more consistency of results.   He will get tons of minutes next year and this team can be really good moving forward.

Good assumption

maybe it would be better for him to transfer, maybe it wouldn't, who knows? can't say for certain that St. John's is THE best place for him to be.  it would be irresponsible for the kid not to evaluate his options.    I hope he's happy at st. john's bc it seems like he could be a useful piece next year.

He'd lose eligibility by going anywhere else.  It would be silly at this point.  I understand s frustration.  He got dragged through the mud a bit and I think it may have soured him on the NCAA.  Maybe he had hoped the SJU people could have gotten him eligible for second semester as many of us fans thought as well.  When NCAA didn't cave, I can see how he was possibly frustrated with SJU as well.  I mean, many SJU fans were frustrated with SJU as well since many thought it was gonna get pushed through.  I don't blame Lovett for feeling that way entirely in this particular scenario.  If he's a smart kid he realizes it's not SJU's fault and his situation will not get better by any way shape or form.  He has PT ready here and won't lose eligibility.

The kid is in this situation because of himself.  His frustration hopefully subsides and he realizes that it's nobody's fault but his in the end and just keeps working to play some ball here next season.

Where has Darien Williams been?
I sat about 25 rows behind the bench. I saw Lovett, but not Owens or Williams. Doesnt mean they werent there. I didn't see them.

Owens was there. He was right behind the bench. I did not see Williams, and that's fine with me.

Darien is out for the rest of the year. Went home for break which is why he missed some games.
