you give yourself a villain name

That's a mistake many people make. Foad is actually from the Dutch word for "fjord" - my ancestors were ferrymen. It was originally Van Foadserweerdiksen but they shortened it at Ellis Island.

What is a good shot for this team? Sima or Yakwe dunk. Ron M with his feet set and no one near him from three. Other than those three instances not much else comes to mind

Durand Johnson is the go to guy and people wonder why we lose. We sucked when Darryl Hill was the go to guy and he broke people's ankles.

And had an ALL BE player as a number 2-Hamilton

BTW since we stink, I kind of enjoy watching Johnson.

I root for him to do well, if only because it annoys the people who say he stinks. He dives on the floor, he rebounds, he makes the occasional snappy pass. What's not to like, really. He's certainly no worse than anyone else. And he's pretty stoic on the court, which if you're going to teach the young ones anything, that's a pretty great lesson: never let them see you sweat.

Mullin was an exceptional player here. Probably the best we've ever had. So, if a player throws a soft, careless pass that could have been easily avoided, it's not on the coach to correct that. Clearly, he's not bothering to.

It would also be helpful if he told them not to miss so many shots. That he allows them to without correcting them is indeed troubling.

But by all means, believe in the process, if you can detect one.

I've detected one. The process is to hire the best recruiters in the game and allow them to recruit players who are better than the players on the other teams. Because Mullin knows that no matter how good the coach is, he cannot turn shitty players into championship contenders. (Except Norman Dale obviously, but that's why he's in the hall of fame.) And then, once he has players capable of competing with the other teams, he and Mitch Richmond will tell them not to throw lazy cross court passes.

Seriously, did Mullin #$%^ your girlfriend in 1985? You are becoming positively unhinged.

Can't Mullin tell them not to rush shots? And isn't that something they can do without being talented?

I don't remember what game it was, it was a road game, but the FS1 cameras caught Mullin telling them to stop taking quick, disgusting shots. He said that everything they took a jumper the other team was happy. They then continued to take quick disgusting shots.

What about a Christian Jones bunny.  He makes them at leas 40% of the time.

Back when I was still hoping that we could win some games he drove me crazy, but he is our best option. Sadly.

Is there is a greater disappointment on this team than Mussini aka Heath Orvis II? No, blame the guy in the headband.

In my Junior year of HS I was the 4th guard and played sporadically. Once was put into game for 1st time with 2:30 minutes left and somehow put of 10 shots during that time. I think it was some kind of record. Johnson reminds me of me.

I think we both know why that is

Because we are all racists. Just like anyone that criticized Cam Newton for his excessive celebrations did it based on race. Cam really proved what a class act he is in the way he handled post game interviews. If you can do a Superman act, Dap, and dance for five minutes every time you score a TD than man up and civilly answer a few post game questions without sulking off.

No, not so much why Johnson is criticized( if we were good, he would be really annoying) but why Mussini isn't getting killed as well. He is shooting same % and is a much worse defender. Plus for some reason the excuse that a 6-0 140 pound guy is not really a point guard has somehow become accepted.

Because we are all racists.

Not all of us. I for example am a misanthrope and hate everyone regardless of race creed or national origin. But there is no question that people think Mussini is a good shooter because he's a white catholic, despite any evidence to the contrary. {That he's a good shooter, he may well be catholic)

In fairness when he is by himself shooting he does look like a good shooter. The problem is the other teams insist on guarding him. Many a "good shooter" seems to suffer from this problem.
I don't doubt that if you had Mussini and Johnson shoot uncontested three pointers in an open gym, Mussini would kill Johnson. In game conditions Johnson can create space and shoots better.

And bigots too. What is the difference between Johnson and Mussini?
1. Mussini is a freshman in a new country; Johnson a senior w major conference experience.
2. Mussini will look to pass or at least not shoot until another teammate has touched the ball; Johnson has little consideration for either.
3. Johnson is more athletic; I can say that because I am a racist and a bigot, lol.
4. When my family came to Ellis Island, our name was Braintrustowitz. It too was shortened by the anti semites at Ellis Island.

I guess an 0-fer 2016 will bring out these kind of arguments. I'm leaning toward Poison, I think we might just beat Gtown tonight

You can't say that because he's playing out of position. What is his actual position? Who knows?

Once we get a true PG and Mussini is able to spot up, I expect his percentage to go way up and he becomes a different player.

If he is playing big minutes next year we have a big problem. Hopefully Ponds and Lovett are real deal and he becomes a specialty player

There is no statistical argument you could use to say Mussini is better than Johnson. If they were both in Italy Johnson would still be better.

You are right we are sju, but he should be better. He's been playing a higher level of competition longer than Mussini has and he must be 3-4 years older than Mussini. Johnson doesn't make any of his teammates better, at least Mussini looks to pass.

Johnson stinks. He is also our best player.
Johnson will be gone and Mussini will be here which is why Mussini worries me more
