Wonder if Whitehead voted?

Steve Lavin, who coached The Team of a Million Suspensions,  didn't think a tournament-bound team was mature enough.  How rich.

Yeah, you don't need to be Doctor Freud to understand why Lavin picked against the team that the recruit who probably cost him his job was on.

"Individuals with Paranoid Personality Disorder falsely believe that they are being victimized by others. They are highly critical of others, yet hypersensitive to criticism of themselves. They bear grudges and are unwilling to forgive the insults that they think they have received. Minor slights arouse major hostility, and the hostile feelings persist for a long time."

The only thing that shuts up Steve Lavin is a fork full of food he is stuffing his face with in a 5 star restaurant he is dining in on St. John's dime.

I'm no medical professional like you Doc.  But I think you might have just described yourself.

Lavin was a truth teller who refused to be lied to by some of the locals who wanted to go elsewhere anyway.  In the UCLA content, Wooden was a known cheat.

Jarvis was a cheating school (Ohio State which vacated its final four win against us) and a bump the refs didn't see away from a final four.  We were relevant when he was here.  I find it hard to believe fans don't see it that way.

Norm was in way over his head.  He didn't deserve to be hated, but he was because the fan base rooted for him and the team to lose.

The horns go to FR Harrington, who screwed with Jarvis...fired him without a replacement...let young men who enjoy a whiff of pussy once in a while go to town unsupervised...then brought in a nice man with losing records everywhere he coached to "save" the program.

You forgot to call Jarvis a cheater (or are you forgetting payments to Dishonest Abe?).

They let Abe hold on to the stipend the other players had gotten because they bought his sob story.  It wasn't because he was a superstar this team absolutely needed.  In fact, he pretty much stunk.  If it happened at Syracuse, Louisville, Kentucky or North Carolina, no one would have batted an eye.

For f... off and die, when I wrote "Lavin was a truth teller" I was referring to what he told prospective recruits...not the LALA land mantra he handed us.

I'm not sure what he told prospective recruits Polee, Balamou and Alimakeowish et al, but okey dokey. I just can't pass up an opportunity to kick him. It'd be like Ahab refusing to yell "From hell's heart I stab at thee" and toss a harpoon.
