Since July of 2009. You have written almost 3000 posts mocking previous coaches and players. Now because you finally like the coach. You are outraged because some have the audacity to question the current staff's competence after the worst season in school history.
Actually that's not true. The first 700 or so of those were defending Norm and then there were probably another 500 mocking posters who annoyed me in general. In very few of them did I mock players, except Phil Greene for being an over rated one dimensional nothing burger and Chris Obekpa because of his shorts and psychotic grin, that was maybe 200 total. A large portion of those remaining, maybe 500, did mock Steve Lavin, but only because he's one of the worst coaches who ever lived and a worse human being than Richard Speck. (Did you see in the Post today where
Captain Queeg Lavin said that Whitehead committed to Seton Hall in September 2013 because "everyone knew" Lavin would be fired in April 2015 and replaced by Mullin? Yeah, he's not mentally ill at all. But I digress).
It is also not true that I am outraged. Generally it takes something pretty serious to get my dander up, like the Holocaust or when the Gilmore Girls got cancelled. Other than that mostly I'm just typing. That you perceive it as "outrage" is merely a testament to my mastery of the written word.
Despite these many errors I understand your point, I just think it's absurd. And its especially absurd coming from posters such as yourself who saw Steve Lavin's buffoonish performance as head coach and even after five long years were not shocked and appalled at his negligence and incompetence and would not hear a discouraging word about him. Regarding Mullin's performance this year there is nothing that can be taken from it, either positive or negative.
Regarding my participation in this thread, consider that a one word post, quote Slice unquote, spawned two threads on two fan forums comprising four hundred posts bemoaning his alleged departure as the most catastrophic event in sports since the 72 Munich Olympics. If I can't mock that you might as well take away my keyboard, which I'm sure you'd admit would be the greatest tragedy in the history of literature since John Kennedy Toole stuck a potato in his exhaust pipe and turned the key.
