Getting back to the topic at hand, since he's the clear winner, has anyone heard anything on Darien Williams? What's his health status?

Respectfully to those in the know, is a transfer imminent or is there only one scholarship left for 2016?

I would like to have some clarity. All season Zach Braziller in particular insinuated via Twitter that there would be no problem making room for a combination of Rawle and Thon etc. That's been the rhetoric all season, so what's the deal?

How many scholarships do we have going into the Spring Signing period?

Apparently one guy will  leave SJU & a fifth year big and "sit out
transfer" guard is current assumption.

My guess is Jones is out. Would love to see him go to smaller conference school where his limitations can be masked and major minutes could be had.

Would make for great fodder if he went to Iona.

Would be a horse down low with Jordan Washington. Glad to have him

Rosco Allen would be a great pickup, if he's looking at leaving.

I honestly can't figure out WHAT Foad is politically....

Well his avatar is from the Norman Mailer novel "The Armies of the Night"; a book about an anti-Vietnam war protest/march on the pentagon.

Mailer was a robust political figure who launched an unsuccessful bid to be the democratic candidate in the 1969 NYC mayoral race.

He also had these contentious debates with William Buckley billed as conservative vs. liberal.  Although, Mailer rejected the term liberal to describe himself.  Drunken left wing intellectual seems apropos.

So there's that.

Great job by Norm with the "Naked and the dead." Movie people did the book justice. James and Norm talked civil. Buckley saved the conservative party by getting the nut job racists out, for a while anyway.

Yeah, I would like to see that movie.  The book was good. But it's long.

His bro was James, should have said Bill.

Two more additions towards this offseason's roster is pretty exciting. They're already pretty talented as they stand. Hope this Spring signing period brings some good days ahead.

Where did you get the idea that we're getting two more additions?

He could be "the man" at Stony Brook - Warney Jr.

Rumblings that Jon Severe might be graduating early from Fordham and looking to leave. His shooting percentages skyrocketed last year when he wasn't asked to do it all. Wonder if we'd have any interest.

We don't need that guy. He was a promising prospect at one point, but we have Mussini to fill that role.

They'll have no interest. We need another wing (Ellison can't be asked to shoulder too much) and/or a big with strength.

I think Ellison has more potential as a swing man than he does as a point guard. He's still got always to go before he's a legit BE player. What the team's needs is another point guard.

You don't think the combo of Lovett, Ponds, Ellison and Mussini can handle that for one season?  I think we have more than enough guys.  Lovett is going to be our PG, that's for sure.  Mussini and Ellison have performed well enough in a pinch to the point that we were still competitive late into a lot of games, including BET with Marquette.  Don't take that as me saying its optimal, but adding Lovett and Ponds to the two guys we played at PG this season, I think means we have some backups to Lovett and Ponds that have played the position for an entire season.

Ellison can't guard the PG position, so he'll never be a point guard.  He might be a point-forward type of player, but if he's defending PG's then something went terribly wrong.  He looks like he's never seen a screen before in his life and his doesn't have the best lateral quickness.

Yes.  We are set at PG, don't listen to Poison.

Compared to Fellini...he's Gary Payton.
