If I had my druthers, I'd probably prefer taking Simon to sit, and Livingston and Kostas to play. adds one more soph in Simon after sitting out, and bring in a senior and a freshman. we could use a kid like Livingston next season who can really impact, losing Ali and Jones.
And for those pining for a 5-star player, Justin Simon out of Arizona was a 5 star player out of Hs ans has 3 years eligibility. Sounds like a great pickup to me, if we can land him.

Per Zach ( and Paultz) we are officially on the anthony livingston watch now. Outside of the cop punching incident- this is just the kids of player size, rebounding and scoring wise this team needs. Immediately eligible also.

Granted he prepped at Brewster, but this kid is a 5 star California bred, Pac 10 type player. If they were to land a player of his caliber and relocate him to the Northeast, they'd really be flexing their muscle and it'll be a huge sign of things to come with this program on a national scale. Sitting him for a year while Ellison continues to develop could form a rock solid depth chart at SG come 2017-18. With the current transfer list, I'd like them to look at Kory Holden (Delaware) and Terrell Allen (Drexel) as well, but PG seems to be an afterthought. Both heady, tough Northeast lead guards.

See below link. Charges include a class D Felony and 3 misdemeanors. Last court entry indicates that a hearing or some next step (not sure of what procedures Arkansas law provides for) is scheduled for June 3rd. I can't imagine, after doing their due diligence, that the staff will proceed with this recruitment unless he cops a plea soon and only gets probation, which given the charges seems unlikely.https://caseinfo.aoc.arkansas.gov/cconnect/PROD/public/ck_public_qry_doct.cp_dktrpt_frames?backto=P&case_id=16JCR-15-611&begin_date=&end_date=

I don't know about arkansas, but in NY you don't get jail time for punching someone one time. does anyone know if the victim was injured? this definitely warrants further diligence by the coaches, but hopefully it was an isolated incident and he's a decent kid
