How come they aren't going after the guard from Delaware

Lovett and Ponds are both under 6 feet (Listed as 6'1" but let's be real..) and Mussini barely scratches the surface of 6'1". We don't need any more players of that stature.

Shamori definitely not under 6'0", but it has nothing to do with a team's success.  Most of the national champions over the last 10 years won with backcourts under the 6'2" mark.

It has nothing to do with success but it does with defensive liabilities and matchups.

Is it hurting UNC this season with Paige, Berry and Britt all under 6'2"?  It's more about speed and skill at the college level.  Didn't hurt Shabazz nor Boatright either at Uconn.  Like I said, look back at national champs over last 10'years. Majority won by teams with guards that are sub 6'2".  Defensive matchups size-wise more important in the frontcourt than the backcourt.  And defense?  John Linehan was one of the best defensive guards I've seen on the ball and was tiny.

Ponds and Lovett are going to play.  It's not like we have other options.   I don't see Mussini as a starter at this level.

Shamorie is as big as Paris Horne. He's not Myles Mack.

He's more Myles Mack than Paris Horne. Shamorie is 6'1 on a good day.

livingstons numbers look good (as long as he stops shooting threes).  scoring and rebounding like that could be a huge boost.  he went for 18 and 22! against arkansas little rock.. let's get this guy. 

going through his game log, he also went for 7 and 11 against oregon; 20 and 5 against baylor; 29 and 11 against nd state; 20 and 10 against arkansas little rock.  so the kid put up good numbers even against some good teams... could be a great pickup.  and so little downside as a grad transfer

Don't know the full story about the cop punching incident, but on paper this guy makes a lot of sense for the Johnnies.  They'll still have a young, inexperienced FC next year with Yakwe, Sima, Owens, etc.  Bringing in a grad transfer like Livingston would definitely help bridge the gap.

+1.  He's got a felony charge for hitting the cop, and 3 misdemeanor charges too.  Next court date is in June.  Makes no sense.

Boise St. would be a good destination IMO.  I wish him well.  I think he could have been a very solid contributor here the next two years.  10 mpg or so was really the role he should have been playing.  Hopefully he'll turn into a player we'd like to have back.
