Ya Allen is a such a loser that he carried Duke in the National Championship game last year and got to the Sweet 16 with a bunch of freshmen. The kid sucks so bad that he would be a God here

Agree, he's a douchebag but not a loser.

In recent years we were lucky enough to have plenty of douchebags who were also losers. We even had homosexual naked gangbangers fighting in the showers. Pretty sure coach K and Allen could care less about St Johns or its fans

Only a true SJU fan would take a conversation criticizing coach K on how he handled himself with an opposing player and use such conversation as yet another opportunity to shit on the SJU program and players???  #trueSJUfans

He is a punk pure and simple.  I Don't care if he is good player.  You NEVER trip or undercut a player.  If you did this to G-town in the 80s he would have been put out of the game by a tough Hoya.  This type of behavior was policed ingame in those days, as it should be.  K should have pulled him immediately and publicly rebuked him

Take him on my time any day of the week. It's basketball, not paddy cakes. He wants to win, and does.

Also, to attack the team and staff who isnt around, beat a dead horse for the 100000 time and with such a wonderful handle of English phrases and general logic. Bravo! "Could care less" means Duke cares about SJU fans to some degree that there is room to care less.  However, "couldn't care less" would mean that they care to the least degree and actually couldnt care any less. Sorry if I hurt your feelings

I would take a Grayson Allen on my team any day, but with that being said the right coach has to be in place to not let things dissolve. But we need intimidation and toughness as a program. Cannot be afraid of giving hard fouls to players like Arch and Dunn. You get a little physical with so called "stars" like them they will back off and you ram it down their throat the rest of the game. We need to become a program that does not accept losing, will be play tough, and make you bleed to beat us especially at home. MSG and CA. No excuse for not using those courts to our advantage.

The culture has to be committed to winning but with some "extra" behind it. Right now the St Johns name scares no one and that has to change.

Obviously you're the one with the hurt feelings.  Lavin did a job on you... A broken heart hurts but its OK, time heals all wounds.  But you have to let go, you have to let go.

Yeah Baldi, it's hoops.  Kid is good but he needs to be leveled to be taught a lesson.  Intentional tripping, undercutting are punk moves, he is a punk....Al McGuire would have sent in his biggest man  from the end of the bench with directions to take him out hard.  A lesson sometimes can be taught in only one way, no paddycakes.

Gonzaga got a gift there w 11 seconds to go in the game. Cooney wasn't out of bounds.
I was impressed with the way their zone just smothered them in the last few minutes.

The Zags had a great tournament, but they didn't have an Alibegovic or a Mussini to break the zone.

Love them or hate them, ACC teams got it done. Clearly it is the best conference and we should just accept that. Biggest BE  disappointment was Xavier loss to a very ordinary Wisconsin team. Hopefully Nova can upset Kansas, but not confident about that.

Xavier losing was only really disappointing loss to me. Seton Hall had been hot so sure they could have been ripe for a run but just like when we played Gonzaga in 2011 they are always tough especially as a high seed. They are as battle tested as any team from a mid major conference. All in all I think the Big East did fine but not bad and not good. I said previously if can carve out a niche for ourselves right below the ACC Big Ten and Big 12 I would be good with that.

To me the key indicator for BE progress was having two teams around the second weekend. Not the end of the world, but to me the BE does not merit a satisfactory rating for post season play considering the talent and success of Nova & Xavier all season. Oh well, that is life in a one & done world. Go Nova!
