I'll sound like a bitter ex for saying this, but I won't feel bad for Rico at all if he's mostly riding the pine next year when he could have been our monster down low logging 25 minutes a game. 

I understand that Ricardo's brother played an important role in Ricardo's selection of Baylor.

Obviously Drew denies it.  But it's the kids mom who claims Drew was amongst the coaches calling him.  Sooner or later he's going to get caught.

Pearl had a kid at a BBQ at his house and lied about it. Should have just told the truth from the start and it was a secondary violation. Hardly going to condemn the guy for it.

To me, the biggest irony is that Kenneth Starr is the Prez of Baylor, and he's got the biggest conniving lier of a head basketball coach at the helm.  Time to investigate him Ken!!!

No.  You are thinking of Tyler Smith who signed with UT under their old Coach Buzz Petersen who was subsequently fired in 2005 and replaced by Pearl.

When Pearl was hired he refused to let Smith out of his NLI.  Smith did a year of prep rather then attend UT and then ended up at Iowa.  He is originally from Tennessee and so when his father got sick he asked for a hardship transfer to UT.  Then Iowa Coach Todd Lickliter supported it and it was granted by the NCAA.  And Smith and Pearl kissed and made up.  And he was allowed to transfer to UT without sitting out a year.
