apparently reclassified from 2009 to 2010.  Originally veballed to Lasalle a few years ago.

He was mentioned in the latest Zags article about Lavin.

Is this kid a BE player? If so he seems to have interest and could be a nice backup for us.

I think you have to look at our scholarship balance in addition to whats available in the future.

If we sign a 4 year PG and have Stith how does that impact our 2012 recruiting?

Getting a juco + Stith leaves 1 year of development time for 2012 guy which is good.

4 year + Juco + stith = Stith bye bye.

I should add that Lindsey will have 3 years eligibility. Word is that he was very good and he is really really good now. He is a PG that can score. Think along the lines of a Dwight Hardy but more point oriented.

What happened with him.  I see him as originally Class of 2009.  Verballed to LaSalle then literally fell off the face of the earth.  No game footage, no AAU footage.  Just two lackluster 'workout' videos.  What's the backstory here?

Had some very serious family issues that forced him away from the game.

Update on Lindsey from Zags.  He has some solid schools recruting him.  Hopefully he'll be the pg.  If Tharpe waits until the spring like he says, it's prob too big of a risk to wait on him without having another capable PG on the roster (along with Stith).

The last time I saw him play was almost two years ago [Eddie Griffin- Jersey (Strickland, Cheek, etc ) vs. Philly (Malik Waayns, Dalton Pepper, etc.)] MJ.

Great News Dave!  Thanks for the scoop....

Also good work by the staff, looks like Chiles kept tabs with his Philly relationships and having NBA experience w/ Dunlap and Rico was a big plus.

in those videos he goes 12 for 12 than 3 for 4..looks like our point guard shooting troubles could be over
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Welcom aboard Nuri!

I'm not sure Stith is going to go as quietly as some of you think.  It kind of reminds me of when the Giants drafted Ron Dayne in the first round and everyone though Tiki would be a distant memory...it just made Tiki work much harder and Tiki eventually became a pro bowl RB.

If it is true that Stith is working his arse off, he will probably develop a special bond with Dunlap.  Two years of experience and a year and a half under Dunlap and Rico could make him VERY tough to move out of that starting spot.  The kid did win a NC State Champtionship and won the Prep National championsip. He's a winner.
