Lunardi’s bracketology currently has WV as a 4 seed and Zona as a 5. Butler is a 2 seed. Beat Butler, and we should start getting respect.

We have two great wins, and two losses that look worse than they did a month ago.

The good news is that our losses were in November, and in December, we are undefeated. The committee wants to see what kind of team you are by March. IDK how much more we can improve, but it certainly feels like it could be significant because our guys have already improved from game 1 to game 13.

It’s all so unfamiliar.

According to Lunardi, the two teams with the most Q1/Q2 wins: Butler with 9 and West Virginia with 8.  Losing that game to Butler at home really stings, but the WV win is looking even better than it did originally.

The B10 and the BE are the two deepest conferences in the country this year, by far.

I see the BEast getting 7 teams in and the B10 getting 9 but still two months til Selection Sunday.

Lunardi doesn’t predict, he only places teams according to where they are currently. Our conference slate will be ugly.

Teams have seen our guys against common opponents and the good coaches have discovered the tendencies and weaknesses of our players like Rutherford. The over/under for road wins will be 2. The over/under for home wins is 4.5.
