Missing makeable shots or bothered by our quickness, athleticism, and close-out ability.  Always hard to tell ...

we are at our best when we are "the fast and the furious".  This team is fun to watch

I agree prjohnnie.  CoC missed a lot of shots because we were closing well on the shooter and they were rushing the shot.  Detroit hit some long bombs, mostly by McCallum, but they did miss a few open looks.  I forgot to DVR that game.  Was at the game but I would like to watch it again.

A positive that I think need to be highlighted.

How many time did we impound the ball and push it up, up, up - one sequence Jakarr impound to DLo near half court who pass the Chris Jones and the BALL DIDNT HIT THE GROUND. ...

You're really right on this choz.  The first few games (exhibitions included) I didn't think our guys were getting the outlet pass out quick enough and looking for the next pass ahead.  We definitely did a better job of that today.

Great point.  I thought the guys closed out very well.  It's a different world when you have Obekpa and Sampson flying at you than what we've had in years past.

The problem with that is a senior team like Murray will pump fake, take one dribble to their right, and watch Sampson fly bye.  Were longer and quicker, and thats helping a lot on our close-outs; but it doesn't change the fact we leave out feet to early when guarding on the perimeter.
Aggressiveness is great, but against a good shooting team you can't help out and leave your.man, and you can't leave your feet on shot fakes.

Stuff to watch for tomorrow.

Also I love Jakarr grabbing the board and leading the break - head up, tight handle. What a weapon.

Nothing prettier than a fast break where the ball ever touches the floor
