He might be a great individual player, but do you really think he has any interest in winning? Why leave home to go play for one of the worst teasm in the nation?
If it's an education he REALLY wantd, I'm sure schools like Stanford, Georgetown, Michigan, Cal, Illinois and Syracuse would have found a spot for him.
First off, Virginia is far from being "one of the worst teams in the nation". They are bad, but they also nearly beat Syracuse on the road, lost to Minnesota by 10 on the road, lost to Xavier by 14 at home. They've played a solid schedule and weren't completely blown away until that UNC game. Not to mention that they've played three ACC games and already have a conference road victory.
Secondly, you're criticizing him for "not wanting to win" because he didn't come to a program that hasn't been close to the NIT in years?
UVA was in the NCAA Tourney two years ago. It's not like he decided to bail on St. John's so he could go to Northwestern.
