Agreed although I don't think anyone including Whitehead knows what he is going to do right now. It will be based on the combine and what scouts are telling his "advisors" thereafter.

1. Nova
2. Seton Hall (With Whitehead)
3. X
4. Creighton
5. Marq
6. St. Johns
7. Georgetown
8. Butler
9. Providence
10. Depaul

I can see St. Johns finishing as low as 8th and as high as 5th. Is marquette going to be that good losing Ellenson? Take out Ellenson those games and St. John's beat them in all 3

I think Creighton is going to be the Surprise team and can challenge at top of the league with Foster coming in this year.

Best case scenario this year is to be 16-19 win team. Take our lumps lose some head scratches because that is what St. Johns does..but win some big games at home...Maybe hope to be on bubble....Go on NIT run get City excited for the with everyone returning in 2017 and adding Simon and Clark and take off from there

Delgado?  No.  But there was speculation among Hall fans at one point that he might.

I expect a huge bounce back from Georgetown next year. Only losing DSR since Hayes was granted 5th year. Peak, Campbell, Cameron, White, Govan, Derrickson, Copeland and a freshman stud in Jagan Mosley. Ridiculous depth and now experience.

Gtown makes huge jump next year or Thompson's seat gets hot

An NIT bid/bubble team would be a very nice second year and that is my hope.

An NIT bid/NCAA bubble team would suffice.  Actually, I expect to be an NIT team, and figure we should win a game or two in the NIT.

A lot of focus will be on in-game coaching and sideline development this year.

Agree.

My expectations are 8th or 9th in the league with around 15 total wins.  Still a year away

That's worst case for me (9th) best -5th

Gulp!  I agree for the most part.  If Livingston comes aboard, then I expect a top 6 finish.

They should make the "jump," but that will be indicative on their newcomers (the JUCO transfer (Mulmore) and the 5th year transfer (Pryor), IMO.   Mosely a "stud?"  Nope.  He may have trouble seeing any, significant minutes.

Surprised that people think Gtown will make the jump after losing their best player. No guards on that team.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Real nice interview with Mullin starting around 7:45 lasting about 15 minutes. Mentions Owens put on 20 lbs of muscle over RS year. LoVett with 10-15.

Surprised that people think Gtown will make the jump after losing their best player. No guards on that team.

Rodney Pryor grad transfer Guard from Robert Morris, Johnathan Mulmore Juco Guard leading juco scorer, Jagan Moseley Freshman Guard from St. anthony's. LJ peak Jr guard, Tre Campbel Jr Guard.  We've got plenty of guards now although lack of guards was certainly a problem last year it won't be this year with our additions.

Thanks, I thought of peak as more of a 2-3 but definitely a quality player. Those three new comers all expected to get minutes?

I would expect a starting line up of Mulmore, Peak, Pryor, Copeland, Govan by BE play. Not sure Campbell will see much time. Mosely might might not hard to say with freshmen. Glad we have the deth where everyone will have to compete and earn their playing time.

I like Peak, but I don't consider him a college guard.  He can't guard Lovett or Ponds on his best day.

Hoya, what's the consensus on Thompson? Hot seat ifno tourney this year?

Peak couldn't guard me or you, Marillac.  He's a crappy defender.

Disagree on Peak.  Think he is certainly quick enough to lock down good guards.  And I think Gtown should have a much better year this season - they have top 3/4 talent in the conference IMO.

They had top 2-3 talent last year and the results were terrible so guess we will see. You would have to think another season like last year and JT3 would hve to be on the hot seat.

My friends from Georgetown are not fans of JT3. I was also surprised to discover that Smith-Rivera wasn't well liked either.
I'm happy to see him go for obvious reasons.
