Might be one of the cases where the kid just isn't very interested in st john's. In that case no reason to follow around a kid who doesn't wana come here.

Some clarity would be nice bc Abs is routinely in the same gym as Nowell watching his respective HS/AAU teams and he's easily top 3 2018 NYC guards right now. Nowell is going to tear up his age group's streetball and AAU summer circuit this year.
What clarity do you want? If they aren't watching and visiting him then they aren't recruiting him. They aren't going to come out and say we stopped recruiting him because he doesn't want to come to St. John's.

Well considering how your 'Abs' blankets offers to everyone who transfers and were like the girl at the dance willing to hook up with anyone.
I'd venture to guess he's sniffed around here and found out the the was no mutual interest.
Otherwise I guess he isn't earning that raise
