Darien could move on to play at another program or Alibegovic could decide to play his senior year elsewhere. Malik Ellison is going to need to show marked improvement in order get minutes next season. If he doesn't, he might bolt, too.

I think it's more likely that mussini takes off than ellison

The picture will become more clear in the coming months.  What is almost certain when you have transfers from Zona and MSU sitting out is that there will be some departures. Either of these guys could make the cut. There is no guarantee Bash beats out Ellison next year with his year in the system.

In any event, there will be room for French and possibly more.

I'd be fine with a pipeline from PSA. One of the best coached AAU programs out there and loaded with talent.

FRENCH SAYS SEVERAL WORKING HARDEST

As for his recruitment, Hasahn French said several schools are working the hardest, including St. John's.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, they're definitely coming after me pretty hard," French said. "I like them. They're a pretty good school.. The coaching staff is pretty good and I like what they're doing right now."

St. John's doesn't technically have a scholarship for French in 2017, but would certainly make one available for him (or Bamba or Hamidou Diallo) if he chose to go there.

"They showed me the board and what they were doing and who's their top priority and I was one of those guys," he said.

Asked who else was on the board he said, "A couple guys from New York, I'll give you that."

French also listed Providence, Temple, Seton Hall, Marquette, Kansas State and Arizona State

"Those guys are pushing very hard," he said.

I watched the game Vs Mokan Elite didn't really stand out.  Maybe he was tired.?.
Attack basketball, pressure defense, 40 minutes of hell ... Early on it might be 30 minutes of hell, then 10 minutes of what the hell are you doing?"

They got whipped  by 28 points.  PSA is loaded and you can argue no one on their team did well including the kids offered by UK and Duke.

Not sure what your point is.

PSA Cardinals power forward Hasahn French might be overshadowed by higher-ranked teammates during EYBL play, but he shined on his own during the opening night of play, scoring 17 points and ripping down eight boards. French showed he can be a defensive presence inside blocking shots while also facing up beyond the arc and knocking down shots. Hurley, Wojciechowski, Miller and Derek Kellogg were all on hand to watch French.

Think I saw on another thread that odds of landing French dropped with the commitment of Brown. Is that still the sense?

Per Scout.com French visiting Marquette 9/9-9/11, Minny 9/23-9/25 and St. Louis 9/30-10/1.

Also says he wants to visit SHU.

Strange mix of schools

As long as Zach Brown stays committed and qualifies not landing French is not a problem.  But anything goes wrong with Brown and this kid turns about to the be the kind of 4 year player I think he can be than....

No one has a crystal ball. Life is filled w tough decisions. Never any guarantees .. If Zach doesn't work out , there will be other players. Although I would like to have French. Its not like he is a 5 star recruit .I think Zach is worth the risk, huge upside.
