Same ole story. Mussini and Ellison need to defend.
Great job by Williams. One door closes...

That's on the coaches. Why you are designing a play for Yakwe to get the ball in crunch time makes no sense.

Good set play after the timeout but Yakwe's hands are just the worst.

We had 1 big east caliber player play today. And 0 coaches qualified to coach in CYO on our sidelines

Last year these losses were understandable, this year they are not. This program is a joke and it's hard for anyone to be able say St John's basketball is headed in the right direction because it is pretty obvious they are not. The rest of the Big East keeps getting better and we continue to lose to terrible teams and somehow think this program is going in the right direction. Let's face it we are DePaul.

I guess the "we are better without Lovett" talk now goes by the wayside

Good for Darien that he contributed today given the opportunity

Can't ask for a better look than that with Ponds.  He was due for a bad shooting game.  Missed a couple of chippies he normally makes easy

It is like finding a needle in the biggest haystack ever produced to think we could possibly have found a coach more clueless than Lavin and we did it. We did the impossible. Their recruiting so far has been underwhelming. Five major studs from city and doesn't seem like we have a chance for any of them. Not sure if Mullin realized how much work goes into running a top tier program and unfortunately seems like he is running out of gas already. If Zack Brown isn't eligible next year we are a laughingstock again

Didn't we have the so called top recruiting class in the Big East?

They totally over hyped Ahmed. His basketball iq is so low it is mind boggling. He is a more skilled Felix Balamou, who had one of the lowest basketball iq's to ever wear a St John's uniform.

Ponds is a very good player who will be a star in this league. A major star.

I am sorry but Freudenberg was just totally overrated. I really expected big things from him and was hoping his European skill set would be an addition to the team. It is really hard to be excited about  any part of his game. He is very unathletic and looks like a terrible defender. Just like with Sima in my mind the ceiling is very low with this guy.

If I am not mistaken that was our great recruiting class which doesn't look so great right now. And let's not forget our staff was able to rerecruit Amar Alibegovic. Another total waste who wanted to leave as they should have made his plane reservations for him and used the scholarship on a real Big East player

Judging  games on an individual basis will drive some of you insane by the end of the year. Let's see what the record and who they beat before we say the sky is falling.
