For some reason I just thought I saw the year 2005 listed, but I must have imagined that.

John Bowne also has another under the radar stud in 2019 6'8 Kareem Reid, Xavier the latest to reach out. I prefer these Harkless, Matt Scott, Kyle O'Quinn, Jordan Washington PSAL AA kids. They have strong work ethics and equal talent as AAA kids, real chips on their shoulders playing down a league. Desi Rodriguez was another PSAL AA stud at powerhouse FDA in the Heights before moving up to AAA out at Lincoln for his senior year.

I'll happily sign up for more of Shamorie Ponds. He's a great endorsement for staying in NY. The city kids we've recruited that have left town are more likely to learn less. Two smartest players we've had over the last 20 years were city kids. Artest and Ponds. They leave, and a part of their game leaves with them. Not in every case, but in many.

John Bowne BBall: A tough 65-67 loss against Lawrence Woodmere A. Christian Hinckson 16P 18R 7A 3B & Alejandro Vasquez 22P 4R led the Wildcats.

It looks like Hinckson is a good rebounder and passer. Several games with more than 10 rebounds and more than 4 assists.

 Interesting.

Pat Lawless‏ @PatLawless:

Christian Hinckson, a class of 2018 SF playing for The Firm (NJ), just picked up an offer from Rhode Island.

Any relation to the Kareem Reid who played for St. Rays ? Of course he was only 5'8"
