According to his coach, St. John’s joins a long offer list for Wahab that features Clemson, Pittsburgh, Seton Hall, VCU, Virginia Tech, Rutgers and Umass. Syracuse, Baylor, Florida and Xavier have all inquired recently.
Next up for the 6-10 big is Temple for their team camp this weekend and you have to think they will extend a scholarship offer as well. As far as St. John’s, they are in a great spot for an emerging center that has every college coach in the country following Team Loaded. St. John’s has shown that their unfazed by distance and will invite and offer national recruits despite the mileage difference.
