Oh man, like I say it was late. Ron Ron truly at La Salle.

-Corey cant be counted. If he do than y'all gotta count someone like Shaheen Holloway cause he from Queens but play at St. Pat's.
-Lance hasnt finished his time here so I dont count him.
-Riddick and Charles Jones def deserve a lil consideration, no doubt.
-Show you my mind was back in teh day. I miss Sylvan and Kemba completely. Like I say, it was late. Props fo remeberin' them my brothers.

Another just came to mind: Willie Dersch - Holy Cross. Orlando Antigua - St. Rays.

U guys named just about everybody... even my man Moses Scurry..  :o :) ... Didn't he originally commit to SJU? I know he ended up at UNLV but i thought he was originally ticketed for the johnnies.

p.s. - I know he just misses the cut(holy cross, '84)... but how about Derrick "band-aid" Chievous.. 8) ... my older cousin went to school with him & i attended a few of his games back in the day... he was NASTY... and i think i remember something about him punching out one of his teamates at Mizzou... could be wrong about that though.

Last 20 years of High School basketball. . that would be Class of 1989 and forward..

So you have to remove Malik Sealy & Robert Werdan, they are both my age and are class of 1988..

My Top 7 is that time frame..  and only guys who finished high school in NYC school..

Kenny Anderson - Molly
Jamal Mashburn - Cardinal Hayes
Stephon Marbury - Lincoln
Felipe Lopez - Rice
Sebastian Telfair - Lincoln
Khalid Reeves - CTK
Conrad McRae - Brooklyn Tech (lots of our younger posters have no idea how good he really was in high school)

**if Lamar Odom had graduated from CTK he would be on the list

I honestly think that the 4 best to play in high school in NYC in the last 20 years were Anderson, Mashburn, Reeves & Marbury....

Sorry you think it is sad...

The reasoning behind is simple though..     if it were 20 years, the list would be different and would include Malik Sealy...

Thanks for the input though...     keep up the good work..

PMG911, I see you got Anderson at the top of your list. Is he the best H.S player youve seen?

Kenny is the same age as me (he was a year behind in school) so I don't think I appreciated how good he was at the time I was really seeing him in high school... The competition Anderson played and dominated against was incredible...

For me though, the best player I watched play and truly appreciated how much better he was then everyone else was Stephon Marbury. I am not saying he was the best player just the best I saw & appreciated..

I know a few guys who will aways say that Mashburn was the best player they saw in high school but he never gets the props he deserve because he only played hard in the big games...
