I hadn't seen anything about new staff and Curbelo but the New York Jayhawks twitter account recently chimed in on a twitter thread and stated that CMA and staff have reached out to Curbelo and he is a priority in the 2020 class.  Good news.  Staff is involved with lots of 2020 4 star talent.

I could see Jay David the program director of Jayhawks and Mike Anderson really getting along. Honestly I'm surprised no one has hired David as a coach yet. He's legit good guy and has gotten players with a lot less than big players in NYC.

WTH does ..."has gotten players with a lot less than big players in NYC" even mean?????

Good question. Just like businesses or schools there are travel programs with more resources. Whether that be sponsorship from apparel companies, non-profit foundations that run the program, and/or private funding from donors that helps alleviate costs of player's families for uniforms, travel, tournament entry.

Teams like PSA Cardinals, Rens, Playaz, New Heights, Sports U, Team Rio, Expressions, etc. have a lot of those things along with more prominent histories yet NY Jayhawks are still getting players and keeping them.

Zach B

St. John's assistant Steve Demeo in Greece for the FIBA U19 World Cup. One prime 2020 target, Andre Curbelo, is there, among others.

Curbelo did not mention St. John's when asked about his recruitment by Evan Daniels. Demeo was in Greece last week to see him too.

Don't worry. If he whiffs on the 4-star coach third choice add two 2-stars to even things out.

Or maybe if there’s no bad blood about Mullin being asked to stop coaching, he’d be willing to come back to school and help out with being Chris Mullin because it works great.

Try writing that sentence again except this time put the words in order that might make sense to even an ESL student and also stop mentioning Chris Mullin every post, he's no longer the coach, move on.

You are crazy bastard. You mentioned Steve Lavin 25 times a day after he was fired.
