A loss to one of great teams in college basketball history, but great effort by Beaver, Alagia, etc. Still one of my favorite Johnny games I was fortunate to attend.

Wow. Actually met him when I was a kid, family friend played with him on ST John's.. Good guy. RIP

Enjoyed watching Beaver as I would skip send half of night classes and go over to Alumni Hall.  He always gave good effort and played with some of best.  He scored over 1,000 PTs and 700 R's.  Definitely part of the all time "name" team.

He was 7 inches taller than the PG (Frankie Alagia)--players were smaller 45 years ago.
